How to play Trivia
Everyone answers the same question: choose an answer or guess a number, and collect the most points.
At a glance
- Players: 2–4.
- Modes: Multiple choice and Hebd.
- Each question has a 20-second clock.
- Match length: 10, 15 or 20 questions; the Arabic-only multiple-choice selection offers 5 or 10 instead.
- Play in a lamma (private room), at public tables, or in bot practice. Bots can play both modes.
Goal
Answer correctly and collect the most points. In Hebd, get closer to the correct number than the other players.
How to play
Everyone receives the same question and answers independently within 20 seconds. Submit one answer; after the question, the app shows the answer and explanation.
In Multiple choice, choose one of the offered answers. In Hebd, there are no options: type a number and lock it in. The closest guess wins the question. If guesses are equally close, whoever guessed first wins; equally close guesses submitted at exactly the same time share the question.
Ending and scoring
Multiple choice gives 100 points for a correct answer. Incorrect or missing answers earn zero, with no speed bonus.
Hebd gives 100 points to the question winner, even if the closest guess is not exact. Other players and missing guesses earn zero. If the question is shared, each winner gets 100 points. Guessing sooner only settles equally close guesses; it adds no bonus points.
After the selected number of questions, the player with the most points wins. Equal highest scores share the top spot.
Modes and host options
Multiple choice
Choose an answer from the options, then see the correct answer and explanation. When the bilingual question selection is available, the host chooses 10, 15 or 20 questions and Mixed, Easy, Medium or Hard difficulty. Otherwise, the app offers the Arabic-only selection with 5 or 10 questions and no difficulty selector.
Hebd
No options: type a number. The closest guess scores, with equally close guesses settled by who guessed first. The host chooses 10, 15 or 20 questions and Mixed, Easy, Medium or Hard difficulty.
Categories and topics
In lamma settings, the host chooses General Categories or Dedicated Subjects. General Categories allows several categories or All Categories; Dedicated Subjects selects one subject. The app lists the available topics. There must be enough questions for the chosen length and difficulty; if not, choose more categories, a shorter match or another difficulty.
